GENERAL RULES
  • Any 22 caliber hand gun can be used.  Most people use semi-auto with a red dot sight but some people who can shoot just as well with iron sights.
  • If you are on the line and have a failure to fire for any reason, raise your had so that a safety officer can inspect your gun.  DO NOT TOUCH YOUR GUN OR TRY TO UNLOAD IT!  KEEP THE GUN POINTED DOWN RANGE!  If the problem was caused by your ammo or gun the SO can allow your alibi.  You are allowed 2 alibis.  If you touch your gun or try to clear it, your alibi will not be allowed.
  • If your alibi is allowed, you will write the number of shots that you fired on the target and inform the RSO.  You will fire an additional 5 rounds in an "ALIBI RUN."  When the target is scored, the same number of shots in excess of 10 rounds will be deducted from your score starting with the highest scores.  (You get 2 shots off and are allowed an alibi.  Your target has 12 holes; 5 in the 10 ring and 7 in the 9 ring.  The 2 highest scores will be deducted leaving you with 3 in the 10 ring and 7 in the 9 ring for a total score of 93 for the target.
